PACO RABANNE 70s Insane Gold Chainmail Dress
PACO RABANNE 70s Insane Gold Chainmail Dress
Paco is packing a serious punch in this insane 70s gold chainmail dress! Paco Rabanne is a Basque born designer who was well known as the “enfant terrible” of the 1960’s fashion world. Rabanne’s goal was to craft new and imaginative production methods using seemingly novel postwar industrial materials. This is dress is as avant-garde and attention seeking as it gets and we are so here for it! This work of art is composed of golden clover shaped sequins structurally sew together with golden jumprings. The reverse of the sequins is a saturated mint green color. The dress features a slit on the left hand side and a silver circle sequin fringe hem. The neckline features a round neck on one side a v-neck on the other. Play around alternating between both necklines or be bold and flip the dress inside out and wear the mint green side. Now this is peak perfection: think Edie Sedgwick at Studio 54!
