GIANFRANCO FERRE 90s White + Black Gown
GIANFRANCO FERRE 90s White + Black Gown
As the Stylistic Director of Dior from 1989-1997, Italian designer, Gianfranco Ferre, was affectionately known as "the architect of fashion” and always created pared down albeit sophisticated designs. This 90s column gown is a perfect example of his architectural style. The tight knit stretchy fabric clings to the female form gracefully exaggerating the body’s natural angles. The one shoulder cap sleeve detail, diagonal black stripes throughout, and mini train twist the viewer’s eye downwards and creates an elongated form. A concealed zipper on one side makes for easy slipping on and off. Wow the world in this superb silhouette!
